Gowalla spot-size problems

I resized this spot yesterday to the maximum size available (thanks to @mc_o for the hint) but it still won't let me log in on the other side of the central station. I even tried to place the pin in the center of the whole place... For those who are familiar with the place: When I created the spot I was located at track 10/11. Logging in at the other end in the subway ( the side the cathedral is placed ) doesn't work. I think it's quite stupid to create a new spot isn't it? Any ideas? Is it because I'm underground and GPS is too low probably?

bambuser - video broadcasting from your mobile, desktop and webcam

Just got a newsletter from bambuser (http://bambuser.com/) today and checked the service again.
It seems to have developed to a nice little qik (http://qik.com/) alternative within the last months.
I signed up in April 2008 but didn't really use it. I think there was no support for my mobile back then. Anyway... now there is an iPhone app that you can install via Cydia, that means you have to have a jailbreak.

My testing went pretty well (webcam & iPhone), i didn't test the destktop uploader so far.

The only thing i was missing was a way to share the broadcasting link to twitter or via email, while i am broadcasting from the iPhone.

Jugendschutz im Internet. Habt ihr Empfehlungen?

english: http://www.facebook.com/assbach?v=feed&story_fbid=192763419950&ref=nf

Deutsch:
Ich suche nach Möglichkeiten nur gewisse Webseiten für Kinder freizuschalten (whitelist), nicht umgekehrt, weil sperren müsste man viele...

Was mir spontan einfällt ist

  • eigene kindersichere Browser

Ideen?

Konnte bisher folgendes finden (ungetestet):

Firefox Addons zu "Sicherheit & Datenschutz"

QuickShareIt vs. Dropbox droplet

Bildschirmfoto_2009-10-23_um_2

After finding this page with dropbox addons via @dotdean
http://wiki.getdropbox.com/DropboxAddons

I installed the dropbox droplet and tested it.
It works fine, but i have to say that i like QuickShareIt better because of the short-URL you get when uploading pics.

Compare:

You can find the tools here, they are free:

http://quickshareit.com/

ps: i added a few slashes to the dropbox link suffix, so that the link is shown not the pic...
